L'Occitanie fait son cirque en Avignon

Depuis plus de 10 ans, l’Occitanie fait son cirque en Avignon crée l’événement et permet à des compagnies émergentes ou renommées de donner à voir l'ingéniosité et la diversité de la création circassienne d’aujourd’hui.
Pour cette 12ème édition, un chapiteau, un dôme et une salle de spectacle (tous climatisés) recréent un véritable village de cirque pour découvrir 11 spectacles d’Occitanie et d’ailleurs.
Un simple pont à traverser depuis la ville intra muros pour s’offrir une respiration dans l’effervescence du festival, profiter d’une programmation de qualité et se restaurer au bar restaurant à l’ombre du chapiteau d’accueil.
Une opération impulsée par la Région Occitanie avec le soutien de la ville de Toulouse, d’Alès Agglomération, du Grand Auch Cœur de Gascogne et coordonnée par quatre structures représentatives de la filière circassienne en Occitanie : La Verrerie d’Alès, producteur délégué, La Grainerie, Le Lido et CIRCa.


For more than 10 years, L’Occitanie fait son cirque en Avignon make news and allows to both emerging and well-known companies to reveal the diversity and ingenuity of creation circus.
For this 12th edition, a big top, a dome and an indoor venue (all air-conditioned) create a true circus village offering each day 11 shows coming from Occitania, from other french regions and also from Catalunya and Belgium.
A mere bridge to cross from the inner town and the site of l’Île Piot welcomes the public in a pleasant green environment, far from the crowd of the festival. A bar and a restaurant under the shade of the “welcome big top” completes the offer.
The event is initiated by the Occitania Region with the support of the town of Toulouse and Alès Agglomération and of Grand Auch Cœur de Gascogne. It is coordinated by four structures representative of the circus world in Occitania : La Verrerie d’Alès, executive producer, La Grainerie, Le Lido and CIRCa.
