Jacques GANDARD est diplômé du Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris en harmonie, contrepoint et fugue (premiers prix),
en orchestration (premier nommé), du Conservatoire National de Région de Boulogne-Billancourt en violon (premier prix et
perfectionnement), musique de chambre, analyse, direction de chœur, direction d’orchestre (premiers prix).

Il remporte le premier prix du concours international de musique de chambre d’Acqui Terme (Italie) et en tant que compositeur, le prix SACEM de la meilleure musique de film au festival « E-magiciens » à Valenciennes pour le film "SoloS" d’Armel Hostiou.

Jacques Gandard est également arrangeur et chef d'orchestre

Il fonde en 2002 le Quatuor Bedrich, avec lequel il enregistre 3 albums, "Sérénades Interrompues" '2015), "Minstrels" (2019) et "Empfindung" (2025) chez Bion Records. Un quatrième album, autour de Gabriel Fauré et de ses élèves est en cours d'élaboration.

En 2019, il enregistre également "Les Quatre Saisons" de Vivaldi chez le même Label.

Jacques Gandard pratique également le jazz, l'improvisation, la musique tsigane et klezmer avec le Freylekh Trio, ainsi que la musique traditionnelle européenne qu'il pratique au sein du groupe de folk ”Collectif Markus”. Depuis 2022, il forme un duo, ”Jacques & Jorge”, avec Jorge Castañeda à la guitare, autour des musiques flamenco, sud-américaines, et classique.


Mickael DURAND (orgue) Diplômé du conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Paris (en orgue en 2001, en basse-continue en 2002 et en pédagogie : Certificat d’aptitude en 2007), Mickael Durand a reçu l'enseignement d'Olivier Latry, Michel Bouvard, Thierry Escaich et Jean François Zygel. Il s'est perfectionné auprès de Wolfgang Zerer à Hambourg et s’est vu récompensé du diplôme de « Konzertexam » (Master) en 2005.

Il est également claveciniste, instrument qu'il a perfectionné auprès de Bob van Asperen au conservatoire d'Amsterdam après avoir obtenu le DEM dans la classe d’Elisabeth Joyé à Paris. Il a également étudié la viole de gambe auprès de Florence Bolton, Matthieu Lusson et Marion Middenway avec qui il obtient son DEM au Conservatoire de Nantes en 2015.

Professeur d’orgue au Conservatoire des Sables d'Olonne, il a été nommé organiste titulaire des orgues de la cathédrale de Nantes et accompagnateur de la Maîtrise en 2012.

Il joue régulièrement en duo avec différents instrumentistes et chanteurs (Les Cantates Spirituelles) et forme un duo à quatre mains avec sa femme Gaëlle Coulon.

Jacques GANDARD – Violin

Jacques Gandard graduated from the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP), where he was awarded First Prizes in Harmony, Counterpoint and Fugue, and graduated top of his class in Orchestration. He also earned First Prizes from the Boulogne-Billancourt Regional Conservatoire in Violin, Chamber Music, Musical Analysis, Choral Conducting and Orchestral Conducting, together with an advanced performance diploma in violin.

He won First Prize at the Acqui Terme International Chamber Music Competition (Italy) and, as a composer, received the SACEM Award for Best Film Score at the E-magiciens Festival in Valenciennes for the film SoloS by Armel Hostiou.

Jacques Gandard is also an accomplished arranger and conductor.

In 2002, he founded the Bedrich Quartet, with which he has recorded three albums for Bion Records: Sérénades Interrompues (2015), Minstrels (2019), and Empfindung (2025). A fourth recording devoted to Gabriel Fauré and his pupils is currently in preparation.

In 2019, he also recorded Vivaldi's Four Seasons for the same label.

Alongside his classical career, Jacques Gandard performs jazz, improvisation, Gypsy and Klezmer music with the Freylekh Trio, as well as European traditional music with the folk ensemble Collectif Markus. Since 2022, he has formed the duo Jacques & Jorge with guitarist Jorge Castañeda, performing a repertoire spanning Flamenco, South American and classical music.

Mickaël DURAND – Organ

A graduate of the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP), Mickaël Durand earned diplomas in Organ (2001), Basso Continuo (2002) and Music Pedagogy (Certificate of Aptitude, 2007). He studied with Olivier Latry, Michel Bouvard, Thierry Escaich and Jean-François Zygel, before furthering his studies with Wolfgang Zerer in Hamburg, where he was awarded the prestigious Konzertexam (Master's Degree) in 2005.

He is also an accomplished harpsichordist, having studied with Bob van Asperen at the Amsterdam Conservatoire after obtaining his advanced diploma under Élisabeth Joyé in Paris. He later studied the viola da gamba with Florence Bolton, Matthieu Lusson and Marion Middenway, receiving his diploma from the Nantes Conservatoire in 2015.

Professor of organ at the Conservatoire of Les Sables-d'Olonne, he was appointed Titular Organist of Nantes Cathedral and accompanist of its Cathedral Choir in 2012.

He performs regularly in recital with instrumentalists and singers, notably in the Les Cantates Spirituelles ensemble, and also performs in a four-hand organ duo with his wife, Gaëlle Coulon.
